Why Bamboo

Bamboo is a fast growing sustainable resource that has no natural pests so can be grown using no pesticides or herbicides, needs no fertilisers and only has 1/3 of the water consumption needed to grow Cotton

Being a member of the grass family, like a lawn Bamboo thrives from being cut and harvested growing thicker and producing higher yields for the farmer each year. This prevents soil erosion, reduces the land mass needed and helps to prevent deforestation.

Bamboo also absorbs carbon dioxide and releases 35% more oxygen into the atmosphere than an equivalent stand of hardwood trees.

Bamboo is the perfect choice for those with sensitive skin as it has naturally smooth fibres keeping it incredibly soft, lightweight and non irritating

Naturally antibacterial, anti fungal and antimicrobial plus it has 3 times the absorbency of Cotton. Bamboo is thermo-regulating meaning it keeps you warmer in the winter, cooler in summer and reduces the risk of overheating. Bamboo really is a wonder plant!
